#Agilent usb gpib driver driver#
The README (Release notes) from V7 mention that the GPIBTNT driver has problems with NT 4.0 and has been updated and is now called GPIBNI - supposedly supports any NI cards using the TNT chipset. There a number of online references discussing V6 support of NI AT-GPIB/TNT (driver is GPIBTNT) but the AUTOST does not show that and since I've not been able to edit the AUTOST successfully, I've been unable to confirm. It seems that many configuration files in both V6 and V7 are out of date with actual features. If you can do this, please let me know how. My problem seems (but not sure) to be escaping from edit mode B4 saving. As I indicated B4, I can load the file, (apparently) I can modify it, but cannot successfully restore (save) it. Question: Have you successfully used the V6 editor to modify a file - AUTOST in particular. The source in plain ASCII, manipulating with standard editing tools. Reloading it - get an error saying incorrect file THOUGHTS?This would be my preference as well. I have also tried converting the file to standard ASCII, editing, and Problem is not correctly exiting the edit mode. I've tried using the HP editor and IĬan change stuff but it is not changed after I save it.

So my current problem seems to be that I cannot edit and save the AUTOST file.Īlso, I've switched from V6.3 to V7.1 - which seems to support the NIĪT-GPIB/TNT card that I have. HP Basic for Windows going and driving HP-IB instruments. I'm very interested in whether you can get Lets take this off line - can you see my e-mail ?No please continue here. (I might not have any of the originalĪT-GPIB cards, I should have at least one AT-GPIB/TNT). Installing HP BASIC on an older system with ISA slots to try out an NIĪT-GPIB or AT-GPIB/TNT myself.
My current test system doesn't have any ISA slots. LOAD BIN "GPIBN BO AT-GPIB BA 2C0 IN 11 ISC 8" Only have one interface at the default 7: Multiple GPIB interfaces, you could use something like this so you

The manual says is not currently supported. There are I/O "BASE" and "INTERRUPT" options, and a "DMA" option which There is a "BOARD" option, which I believe would have an "AT-GPIB" If you're trying to use an NI AT-GPIB in a system old enough to haveĪn ISA slot, you would use the "GPIBN" loadable driver. Interface GPIB controllers I used the HP BASIC "HPIBS" loadable HP E2050A Ethernet GPIB controller, both of which have SICL interfaceĭrivers installed as part of Agilent IO Libraries.
So far I have only used an Agilent 82350B PCI GPIB controller, and an The scan probably wouldn't be the best quality, but usable and I might try scanning it without trying to make the pages completelyįlat. I'm trying to get the NIĪT-GPIB/TNT to work. Particularly helpful or specific as to what it objects to. I seem to be able to store files in ASCII, but cannot get the Them and then converted back to LIFASCII? One additional question - Have you converted files to ASCII, edited The users manual references "Installing and using HP Basic for windows"Īnybody have a clue as to where to find a copy?ĭenne mail er kontrolleret for vira af AVG. I have V6.33 loaded and working and have a reasonable handel on configuring the GPIB, but am having problems figguring out the EDITOR.
